Project Convergence: Day 3

Day Three involved drafting patterns for the various designs. Many students used Garment Designer. Here we are at various stages of designing patterns, printing, and cutting sample prototypes.

Project Convergence: Day 2, Mood Fabrics

With sketches and fabric in we went to Mood Fabrics! What a blast that was.

Project Convergence: Day 2, Design

On the second day, we began by looking at student sketches. Each student was asked to conceive a general plan of how to utilize his or her handwoven fabric. The idea was to bombing the fabric with a commercial fabric (to be purchased at Mood Fabrics), and to design either a mixed fabric art wear, or an ensemble.
