And the Renewal of friends

Every year I host a get together of "The Ladies From the Hood", a group of women I have know for years. We make ornaments, and we make merry, catching up on on each others' lives.

Here we are...

The Christmas Tree Saga begins..

OK.. so each year, for the past 7 years, I have created a non-traditional Christmas tree.

I am now in process... and so, here is the first shot of Phase 1.  It began with a phone call, followed by a trip to Twin Oaks Ranch Palm Trees in San Marcos. The theme, as you can guess, is 'tropical'.
Fortunately for me, they were trimming a fan palm tree.  So.. off I went.

here i am with some of the cuttings

lots of palm trees and related.
and the story will continue.
Thank you so much to the management.
