Knit and Crochet Moves to Interior Items
I love Italian fashion, and I love to see knits and crochet move to home interiors.
Look how crocheted granny squares form the headboard and base of this bed.
and look how stockinette/jersey knit becomes a throw.
I have a knit throw for the bed, or divan, which is one of my favorite things in the whole house, it is so comfy and warm. A number of years ago there also was a contemporary art exhibit based on knitting, and some of it was even outdoor art. I snapped a shot, but don't want to put it up until I can identify the artist, so I asked for the public's help. Maybe your public can help, too: http://mymilanitaly.blogspot.com/2010/10/photoless-friday-01-do-you-know-this.html, thanks!
