go round and round..
Here is our Retreat Group, en route to the fabric store. More to come on that! This was the first group transport.
And tomorrow, we tackle the train .. as we head to Milan.
Our goal? Lunch in the Armani Cafe, amongst other things.
Ciao!
I hope that this isn't too late...I work at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, via Gesù 5 (in Milan's Montenapoleone district), please drop by! The museum is open in the afternoon. Call me: 02.7600.6132, http://www.museobagattivalsecchi.org. We have few textiles (boo-hoo), but are a marvelous "time capsule" of late 19th century traditional taste, with the original Italian Renaissance art and decorative arts collections still in place, as they were at the end of the 19th century. I wish I had known earlier you were coming to Milan. Hope to see you, there! Are you going to the Sforza Castle (they have a clothing collection)? Are you going to the Poldi Pezzoli (they have lace, velvets and antique fabric snippets collections)? Are you going to Gandini Tessuti (they're right down the street from us!)?
ReplyDeleteHi Star...
ReplyDeleteI am so disappointed! We were right by you. Next year, I will make sure to touch base with you prior to coming to Milan.
We saw the fashion exhibit of costumes for opera/dance. It was great.
